Grain dust collection is a significant challenge in the shipping industry, with dust from loading and unloading operations adversely impacting port environments, equipment, and nearby vessels. To address these issues, OSHA has established stringent regulations for dust control in ports, and non-compliance can disrupt operations.
OUCO's 40 m³ ECO Hopper is engineered to manage dust effectively during grain handling. Built with an NM400 X T5mm wear-resistant plate, this hopper handles various types of grain dust, from abrasive and sticky to fine particles.

Hoppers efficiently clean dust generated during unloading. This
system excels at capturing fine dust particles, ensuring a cleaner
work environment and enhancing overall dust management. The hopper
boasts a dust collection efficiency of over 85% and a dust removal
efficiency of 99%.
Arranged below the unloading point, the dust removal hopper's movable design allows for flexible transfer and docking with any ship in the port, maintaining optimal alignment. Once collected, dusted grains and seeds are transported by trucks and belt conveyors out of the port.
